    A well attended parent/carer workshop took place on Thursday, with almost two hundred parents finding out about assessment and reading in our school.  

    The presentations are on the Curriculum page of this website for those who could not attend. 

     

  • Shenfield Library are displaying Year 2 and 6 work

    Shenfield library has a selection of our work on display.

    Year 6 read 'Eye of the Wolf' by Daniel Pennac before writing their own animal stories.

    Year 2 have created art work inspired by the Aztecs.

  • Red Squirrel Assembly

    Red Squirrel led a wonderful class assembly this morning, teaching us all about the Romans. They amazed us with all the interesting facts they had learnt, although we're not so sure we want to go to a Roman feast anymore!
  • Cross Country House Event

    Today, we held our annual cross country inter house event for infants and juniors.  Not everyone can win, but everyone can be determined to do the best they can.  

     

    The results are as follows:

     

    1st = Ferguson

    2nd = Burrell

    3rd = Landon

    4th = Cole

  • Young Engineers build their own bird boxes

    To celebrate National Bird Box Week the Young Engineers took home their completed nest boxes. They have spent many weeks building them from scratch with the assistance of Mr Church. They make a fine display and we hope many happy families make their homes in them.

  • PFA Pancake Races

    Our PFA organised the Pancake races which were great fun... and the children also enjoyed a pancake at lunchtime! Thank you to the PFA for running such a great event.
