• Christmas House Day 2016 is white!

  As Advent has begun, we are getting ready for Christmas with our annual Christmas House Day.  This year, Christmas is white in St Mary's and our dreams have come true.

   

  Today, children have worked in their houses together to create a wide and diverse variety of Christmas decorations.  Each house also had a special challenge to create a three-dimensional large snowman.

  Archie Nott was awarded his green/blue sash as his Kung Fu grading on Saturday. He has been taking part for three years now and this is his eighth grading - we're very proud of him!

• Dolphin Class Assembly

  Dear Miss Butler, Mrs Antoniou and Dolphin Class,

  Well done for a wonderful assembly on poetry. You knew your words well and said them loudly. We liked your hats because they went well with the video poem. We smiled when you sang the poem and song.

  The theme you chose was interesting and enjoyable. The poems you said were fun and you said them loudly and clearly. You all knew when it was your turn to stand up and speak. It was a good choice of song you chose for everyone to sing because it rhymed in the rap.

  The prayers you said were thoughtful and reflected well on your assembly.

  We think they deserve another round of applause!

  Congratulations to Charlie Boast who competed in his first kick boxing competition on Saturday and having started the sport only 6 months ago, he won the competition for his age group.  Well done Charlie!
