'Keep Calm and Stay at Home!' Does this sound familiar to anyone?

The weather has been horrible but today's been a good day. My spirits were lifted by an instrumental version of 'Keep Calm and Carry On'; I've discovered that one very clever Golden Eagle is using this time to learn sign language and I've been sent some wonderful work. An EXPLOSIVE start to our new topic: On Dangerous Ground!

What will you remember about these unprecedented times?

With the change in weather this week, I think it is the perfect time to spot a rainbow. Let's see who's found one so far...

Once again, I have been blown away by the sensitivity you have shown when completing daily tasks. Here is a selection of what has been sent through so far in response to this half-term's Christian value of 'Love and Friendship'. I should point out that I have been reliably informed that the first drawing was designed from scratch using an i-pad pencil. (I think I need a few tutorials!)

THE BOYS HAVE WON THE BATTLE OF THE SEXES QUIZ THIS WEEK! CONGRATULATIONS!

Well done to those who have shared their creations. I hope you all tidied up after yourselves! And remember: THERE IS A RAINBOW OF HOPE AT THE END OF EVERY STORM...

Your Chance to Shine! Remember to practise your cricket skills this week!

Here is the timetable for week beginning 27.4.20. We are trying some new materials this week and will ask you how you found them during Zoom meetings.
Resources for week beginning 27th April
THE WINNERS OF THIS WEEK'S ZOOM QUIZ ARE THE TWO TEAMS THAT PLAYED ON TUESDAY. NEXT WEEK WE ARE MIXING IT UP A BIT. EACH MEETING WILL INCLUDE A BATTLE OF THE SEXES QUIZ!
This is BRILLIANT but can you guess who's behind it?

This is what it means to GO ABOVE AND BEYOND on a task. Please try to explore tasks fully and ensure that your work is always presented to the best of your ability.

Some of you are just a bit too clever when it comes to technology! These silent movies of rollercoaster rides made me smile!

It is great to see Golden Eagles continuing to think about imagery, ambitious language and the impact their writing has on the reader. Well done.

It appears you had fun letting your creative juices run wild today as you made sock puppets and composed prayers. Some of you were even clever enough to deliver your prayers personally. Enjoy having a nose at what your peers have been up to today.

Whose idea was it to bake cakes this week? Someone with a very wicked sense of humour that's for sure! Each time I open an email, my mouth begins to water. Great effort, Golden Eagles!

Here is a selection of comic strip biographies about our favourite sportsmen and women.

I hope you enjoyed your Easter break and are in good health - feeling refreshed and ready for Week 3's Home Learning tasks. I very much look forward to seeing your efforts.
A quality book review. Enjoy!
How about this for creativity?

EASTER HOLIDAY DAYS IN
A selection of this week's tasks. It's fair to say that the children of Golden Eagle Class continue to produce quality work. One very clever Golden Eagle even managed to make some home-made dog biscuits! Well done everyone!

This will definitely put a smile on your face! Green Shoots...
Please have a read of our posters that offer advice on how to maintain a healthy body and mind.

The title of this alphabet poem is a message we've all heard a lot in the last few days. I think Boris will be proud to know that the Golden Eagles are complying with the social distancing measures and even reinforcing what he has told the nation!
And the wonderful work keeps on coming, but it's not just the children who are learning. Yesterday, I learnt that a 'gharial' is a fish-eating crocodile and today I've discovered that a 'xigua' is a Chinese melon! Enjoy looking at the animal sorting diagrams and reading these alphabet poems.
Here's your home learning timetable for next week. Enjoy! Let's hope the sunshine continues!
The children were tasked with creating a campaign poster to encourage people to work together. Here's what they came up with! Some of the slogans are wonderfully fitting bearing in mind the situation we all find ourselves in.

More FABULOUS work to share with you all!

It seems you had fun building your reading dens today. One lucky lady even got to spend part of her birthday in hers! Frank the Pug gave his seal of approval too!
You truly have unlocked your potential, children. I can't believe how different your designs are. Keep them coming. A worm liked one of these gardens so much that it even paid a visit! Inspiring the wildlife as well as me!

Who knew the children of Golden Eagle Class were SO creative?

Some wonderful examples of your Home Learning. Well done to you all!

I LOVE THE THOUGHT THAT HAS GONE INTO THIS TASK! I am reliably informed that the single cross represents Jesus being crucified. The brown leaves represent sin and death; the green leaves and flowers represent new life after Jesus' resurrection. The stones represent the stone that was rolled away when Jesus rose after three days. Very powerful!

Week One Timetable-Good luck everyone
I thought it would be a lovely idea to share some of the children's work on display in the classroom, seeing as you did not have the opportunity to see it for yourselves this week. Enjoy!
The children in Golden Eagle Class really made me PROUD today. Well done EVERYONE!
