Stoat - Mrs Chudley
We had a fantastic day at Hyde Hall learning about plants and seed dispersal. We were involved in lots of activities and look forward to watching the cress seeds we planted sprouting! Thank you to the class for being so well behaved and to the volunteer parents who came with us. We had a fantastic day and we missed the rain!

Our Anglo-Saxon and Viking Day!

Wulfric the Saxon visited out school to tell the children all about life as an Anglo-Saxon. He regaled them with stories from the past, from early Anglo-Saxon settlers, to vicious Viking raids, heroic tales from the Beowulf Saga, feasting in the great hall and the end of Saxon rule in Britain with the Norman Conquest and battle of Hastings. The children enjoyed dressing up and finding out about what life was like in the past, especially all the gory bits!
