PFA Fundraising

How do we raise money?

Like most PFA's, the majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. Some cater for the children, some the whole family and a number are adults only - there's something for everyone!

Christmas Fair

The annual Christmas Fair takes place in late November/early December. It is a wonderful start to the festive season! There are lots of varied stalls, craft activities, refreshments including mulled wine, mince pies and delicious sausages in rolls, plus of course the opportunity to visit Father Christmas in his Grotto.

Summer Fair

Our annual Summer Fair in June is a fantastic opportunity for the whole school community to come together for an afternoon of fun on the field. There are stalls and games galore, inflatables, refreshments and even the opportunity to catch a member of staff in the stocks!

Bingo Night

One for the ladies! Bring a bottle and some nibbles to the school hall and try your luck - there are some great prizes for the lucky winners.

QuizQuiz Night

A great chance for Mums and Dads to enjoy challenging their general knowledge skills! Bring drinks, nibbles and a sense of humour (and if you're very sensible, a really clever friend!!)

Children's DiscoDisco

We hold separate infant and junior discos at the end of the school day a couple of times a year. Even the very youngest members of the school love to show off their moves and tuck into the complimentary snack and drink.

In addition, we have a number of smaller projects we would love you to support.

  •  School uniform shop – open every Monday after school in the main playground. £1 per item.
  •  100 Club – enter a prize draw every term
  •  Sale of discounted Adventure Island wristbands
  •  Sale of Christmas puddings
  •  Sale of Christmas cards designed by your child
  •  Sale of bedding plants, shrubs and bulbs

We also have ongoing relationships with businesses which can generate income for the PFA:

 Matched funding – do you work for a corporate that offers to match charitable funds raised? In the past parents who work for Barclays have been able to raise substantial funds by matching the sums raised at our summer fair. Could your employer do the same?

 Monthly top-up Giftcards from Sainsbury's - we earn 2.5%

 Register with Easyfundraising to make purchases with a number of large retailers on the internet and earn cashback for the school. This could be a big money maker!

 Labels - we get commission on all orders placed with www.easy2name.com

Yellow Moon - if placing an order please use the school's source code SST3632
