We will be leaving the staff carpark at 9:05am and returning by 11:30am.

There is no need for you to sign in at the school office.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for being outside all morning regardless of weather

All adults must wear high viz jackets. Therefore, if you have your own that would be great or we will provide them.

Refreshments will be provided within the morning but word of warning the toilet is a hole in the ground!

The children will be staying all day and need a packed lunch, unless you have ordered one. All children will need a sun hat and a bottled drink. Despite the warm weather they must wear long sleeves and trousers because of the plants and bugs!

We will return to school for the end of the school day.

Monday 24^th June sports day.

Children need to come dressed in their PE kits with a coloured top for their house.

They will stay in their kits all day.

They also need to bring a sun hat and a filled water bottle.

First step of transition to year 2

As of Monday 24^th June the children need to be collected from the Junior playground (pavilion end) after school. We will along the green fence a class sign will indicate our pick up point. Please let anyone who collects your child know where the new pick up point will be.

The children must have a jumper even in the warmer weather as underneath the tree canopy it can be chilly and weather dependant we will not wear the plastic overalls.

Curriculum week

Next week children will be exploring their hopes, dreams and aspirations for themselves and the world through a range of activities.

For Monday

Children to think about what job they would like to do in the future and find out 3 facts about that job to share in class.

Please can you send in clean packaging of different colours that can be cut up and stuck to make a collage.

Children need to wear uniform for the week but trainers instead of school shoes.

They also need a small ‘named work bag and wallet to keep their ‘earnings’ in.

Thursday all children are to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for sport activities. This doesn’t have to be pe kits.

Next Thursday we are celebrating World Book Day (7.3.19) and are inviting the children to dress up as a character from a story. The children will spend the day with their house and each house has a theme the children can choose to link their outfit to if they wish.
